Chris Sutton obtained his B.Sc. and Ph.D. in Biochemistry from University of Liverpool and Wellcome Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He joined the UK biotechnology company, Celltech Limited purifying therapeutic proteins, before moving to Finnigan MAT, developing applications for mass spectrometers and then to Kratos Analytical as the worldwide Business Manager responsible for MALDI MS instruments. Since August 2005, Chris joined the Institute of Cancer Therapeutics in the University of Bradford as Senior Lecturer in Proteomics Chemistry and Mass Spectrometry applying Proteomics in Biomarker and drug target discovery.
